In Mesa, there's a very special pizza restaurant that's celebrating it's 40th year - Organ Stop Pizza. If you've never been there, you might be curious why it's called Organ Stop - well, it's because of a very unique and rare organ located as the centerpiece of the restaurant: a Wurlitzer organ that has 6,000 pipes and over 1,000 buttons. It's the Wurlitzer that provides the majority of the entertainment at Organ Stop Pizza, as well as puppets, disco balls, and bubbles while Disney and pop tunes stream from the organ to provide a lively and fun atmosphere for thousands of visitors a year.

Organ Stop doesn't just serve pizza - there's pasta, sandwiches, appetizers as well as desserts. This is a family-style restaurant that is HUGE - it's normally packed with people during the cooler months, but the owners of Organ Stop have something special for Arizona residents who stick around during these hot summer months!

Until August 31st, Organ Stop Pizza is offering a fantastic family special to celebrate their anniversary - for $40, you get two appetizers, two pizzas, and two pitchers of soda - that's enough to feed at least two families! This is a restaurant for the whole family - not just the kids, like other popular pizza places. There's no loud games - just music and fun for everyone from Grandma and Grandpa to your littlest peanut!

Organ Stop Pizza is located at 1149 East Southern Avenue in Mesa - and they're open 7 days a week, serving dinner from 5pm-9pm Sunday through Thursday and 5pm-10pm on Fridays and Saturdays. If you're bringing a group larger than 20 (and why not?), you can make reservations by calling 480-813-5700.
