Gilbert: KA-POW! Superhero Adventure Run. As you may know, I certainly have a little superhero on my hands - do you? If so, there's a great run/obstacle course happening tomorrow, April 28th, in Gilbert. You can choose to run the 1 mile "Wolverine" Adventure Run (6-7 obstacles) or the 2.4 mile "Superman" Adventure Run with 9-10 obstacles. EVERYONE - including you, Mom & Dad - are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero costumes. After successfully defeating the course, participants can visit "Gotham City" which will have awards for the runners as well as costume awards, refreshments, inflatable activities and another "Flash" Dash Run! 8am-12pm, Saturday April 28th, Freestone Park, 1045 E. Juniper Rd, Gilbert. If you're not already registered, no worries! You can register at the race for $20 (cash or check only, please.)

Ahwatukee: Enchanted in April (from Girls Looking Cute and Ahwatukee Children's Theatre) has it's big finale this weekend with the "Daddy/Daughter & Mother/Son Ball." The location has been changed from The Grace Inn to Ahwautukee Children's Theatre. Does your little prince or princess need an evening of dancing and royalty? Tickets are still available online for the dance, which is tomorrow night, for $35. 6pm-8pm, Saturday April 28th, Ahwatukee Children's Theatre, 5051 E Elliott Road.

Scottsdale: The Paradise Valley Mothers of Multiples Spring/Summer sale is happening this weekend! If you've never been to this fantastic sale, you MUST check it out - with summer coming up, I'm sure your little ones could use a few new (to them) dresses or pairs of shorts. The sale will have gently used clothing, baby items, toys, games, puzzles, outdoor toys, and MORE! Come and check out the great prices. There is a $3 entrance fee from 9am-12pm (if you're not a member of PVMOM), and after 12pm, you can shop without an entrance fee. They request no strollers or baby carriers or children before 12pm. (This is serious shopping, my friends!) Grab a few friends and head out to secure a summer wardrobe for a great price! They will also be collecting donations for the Paradise Valley Emergency Food Bank, so bring a few non-perishable food items to donate, too! 7am-2pm, Saturday April 28th, Scottsdale Bible Church, 7601 E Shea Blvd.
