Have you heard about Great Wolf Lodge? It’s been the talk of the town since Fall hit Phoenix! After my family’s recent trip, I can attest it is the best place throughout the Valley (and beyond) for Family Fun! This winter, the Lodge has already turned into Snowland; a holiday wonderland filled with snow, Santa, and adventure for all ages!

Here is all you need to know about Great Wolf Lodge during the Holiday Season:

  • Snowfall Celebration: Located in Central Scottsdale, Great Wolf Lodge has transformed into a magical wonderland with twinkling lights, shimmering holiday trees, daily snow showers, and other cheerful decorations. Much of the whimsical holiday décor is centered around the Grand Lobby, which is also home to the new nightly Snowfall Celebration. This interactive show provides plenty of holiday joy as families gather to ring jingle bells, sing seasonal melodies and participate in dance numbers to conjure a magical snow flurry inside the lobby.
  • Frosty Fest: The all-new collection of complimentary activities, sure to deliver some holiday joy with interactive games such as Feed the Snow Monster, Reindeer Antler Toss and Pin the Nose on Mr. Snowman. In the evening, families can rock around the lobby during the Frosty Fest Family Dance Party, which features a contemporary mix of holiday hits that will have everyone on their feet and dancing.
  • Snowland Suites: The whimsy of the season extends to the guest rooms as Great Wolf Lodge offers a limited number of holiday themed Snowland Suites during the Snowland celebration. With giant snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, an in-room Christmas tree and other seasonal accents, these special suites bring to life the magic of Snowland and immerse families in the spirit of the holidays. To book a Snowland Suite, guests must use promotional code SNOWFLAKE.
  • Make-A-Wish®Promotion: Great Wolf Lodge is looking to help grant wishes for children facing critical illnesses by partnering with Make-A-Wish® on a special holiday-themed wolf ear promotion.  Great Wolf Lodge is selling festive Santa Hat Wolf Ears for $8.99 at the front desk and Buckhorn retail outlet, with $2 from each sale being donated to Make-A-Wish.  The campaign runs until Jan. 5, 2020 or until supplies run out – the number of Santa Hat Wolf Ears available for purchase is limited to 15,000 ears across all U.S. resorts.

Newly opened in 2019, the Scottsdale Great Wolf Lodge is a state-of-the-art family playground.  A family indoor waterpark resort, this location boasts 350-rooms and a 85,000-square-foot water park. The indoor water park has a mix of tube slides and raft rides, an indoor lazy river and a multi-level play structure with a 1,000-gallon bucket that dumps water every few minutes.

If you think you might want a break from the water, you are still at the right place!  Besides the water park, Great Wolf Lodge Scottsdale has a great mix of activities! An arcade, mini golf, mini bowling, Build-A-Bear, ropes course and a climbing wall is just to start.
