Princess Parties With Fairytale Events

Being a newbie to party planning for tots, I was determined to make my daughters first birthday soiree as incredible and memorable as possible. Of course, it required tons of research and some chit chat with others mom friends.  I was thrilled to be introduced to Fairytale Events, Arizona’s premier princess party company.  Since I was having a Neverland themed party, I was extremely anxious to have their princess friends, Tink and Peter, come to my daughter’s birthday bash.

New Easter Tea at The Phoenician

The Phoenix area boasts a few renowned tea events through the year, and Easter time now has a new celebration with a special outdoor tea party for young guests and their parents at The Phoenician.  This year will be the first year of Phoe-Phoe’s Afternoon Tea Party, a charming version of The Phoenician’s traditional tea offering, which is being held on Saturday, April 4th, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

With the Arizona springtime on the horizon, more and more kids are taking their playtime outside. Everywhere you look kids are riding their bicycles, scooters or skateboards and enjoying the beautiful weather. Unfortunately, this is also prime time for falls, tumbles and slips. Did you know toy-related injuries are on the rise, and ride-on toys result in the highest number of toy-related injuries among kids?

According to a recent study by the Clinical Pediatrics, ER visits resulting from toy-related injuries increased 40 percent from 1990 to 2011...

Grand Opening of Pinspiration

The social media site, pinterest has quickly dominated the mom scene. Nearly every mom pins. Do you pin? I pin. But the next question, the million-dollar question, is how many of us actually use pinterest as an inspiration for crafting and creating? There’s recent data that says social sites like pinterest make women feel inadequate because aspects of their life are not pin-worthy. For the last two years, I have used pinterest for ideas for both my baby showers, nursery and now in planning a birthday bash worthy of a princess, but these pins have produced anxious party planners and require a larger birthday budget. However, my one pinterest endeavor was a disappointing flop.
