The PGA of America is proud to announce a new partnership with Chalone Vineyard as “The Official Wine of The PGA of America.”  A recognized pioneer in California wine, and the oldest bonded winery in Monterey, Chalone Vineyard is the only winery in the distinctive Chalone appellation. And given its Monterey location and history of supporting golf tournaments, Chalone Vineyard is also the ideal “golfer” wine in Diageo Chateau & Estates’ (DC&E) portfolio.

Chalone’s Estate Wines originate from their 250 acre vineyard on the benchland of the Gavilan Mountain Range.  Located 1,600 to 1,850 feet, their vines grow in soils rich with limestone.  This results in long-lived wines with noteworthy minerality and poise.  Chalone has a proud tradition with their Burgundian varietals, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and invite you to include these legendary wines on your personal wine list.

Chalone Vineyard’s Monterey Wines represent the best of the diverse and dynamic Monterey appellation.  From a Chardonnay which showcases the crisp flavors provided by vineyards in cool-climate Arroyo Seco to a silky Pinot Noir that draws from sustainably-farmed vineyards in Santa Lucia Highlands, these wines represent tremendous value, and ideal affordable wines.

To celebrate one of the PGA’s most popular tournaments, the WM Phoenix Open, Chalone Vineyard has partnered with one of Arizona’s most prestigious desert resort destinations the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa to giveaway a golfer’s ultimate Stay and Play package.  To enter to win the Chalone Vineyard Westin Kierland Resort Stay and Play package look for Chalone displays at participating retail locations or text and CHALONE to 70000 from your wireless phone or device.  Three winners will win a two nights stay at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, plus 2 rounds of golf and 2 spa services.
