It was an evening full of drinks, food, meeting and greeting with the valley’s most social bunch. The elite 20-30s club hosted this years Noche de Gourmet at the beautiful historic Wrigley Mansion.

The massive mansion sitting on top of its own private hill is lit up with bright lights strung from every corner of the place. Every room was lit, and the music echoing throughout the valley can be heard from miles away. An impressive sight for the valley to see, the evening festivities began at 7:00 PM.

At the front door to the mansion, the 20-30s club members greeted each of the guests as they walked inside. Each person dressed to impress, and every member of the 20-30s club sported a suit along with a nametag to distinguish the members from their guests. Todd Sommers, the president, stood at the entrance and welcomed each guest with a huge smile directing the attendee’s toward the party.

Down the hall of the entrance was a room filled with lavish decorations and lights that beamed different colors off the walls. The smell of the food filled each of the rooms, as the guests hopped around from table to table sampling the valleys finest restaurants. The most spectacular restaurants attended the event from various eateries like, Flo’s, Gordie’s, Modern Steak, RA Sushi and many others. At the corner of the room, Honeymoon Sweets displayed a large five-tiered cake sat as a prop next to the food stands, that each of the guests gawked at. Valley residents made their way through each of the rooms sampling food, only to stumble into the room packed with raffle prizes.

The wide variety of prizes was probably the only difficult decision people had to make that night, between winning a trip to taking home memorabilia from the Phoenix Suns.

Drinks, food, and good company, the night was full of cheerful people. The main gathering place was the Beer Garden, where they served an assortment of microbrews and several selections of wine. The crowded room was in great spirits and a hit place to mingle with the variety of valley residents. Whether people were invited as guests, came with their co-workers, or met friends at the event, everyone was very social and friendly.

Stepping outside just past the Beer Garden, was the pathway that guided the entourage of people to the dance floor. Live music was set up in the corner, inviting everyone to dance and shake their “thang.” The guests kicked off their shoes and made way to the floor dancing to the band’s greatest tunes and danced the night away.

Clock struck at midnight, and the cheerful night was winding down. As people gathered their things and made way toward the door, the 20-30s club members all stood together near the front door of the mansion to thank people for attending. The members were all such gentlemen, helping each guest find a ride home. It was a successful night for the valley residents, everyone going home full and happy with great memories to share.

Missed out on this event? Or lucky enough to attend, but wish you could do it all over again? Well, luckily come this Spring, the 20-30s club is hosting another extravagant night.
