Every little girl spends most of her life dreaming of the perfect wedding for her and her prince charming. Their day of bliss usually comes with visions of an extravagantly elegant gown, packed chapel, sinfully delicious seven-tier cake, and a handsome—preferably a doctor—groom by her side. But, one couple has hit their dreams of the perfect out the park and scored the first-ever All-Star FanFest Wedding ceremony and reception to take place during this years’s MLB All-Star FanFest, right before the big game.

Texas residents Joe Curiale and Dolly West were amongst many baseball-loving couples who entered an online contest in May to win the first-ever All-Star FanFest Wedding. With the help of a panel of celeb judges, including esteemed wedding planner David Tutera of WE TV’s “My Fair Wedding “ and others, MLB selected them to be the first-ever winners to be married right here in Phoenix on Tuesday, July 12 at 11:00 a.m.

The couple shares a mutual love of the great American sport.

“Baseball is more than just a game to us; it’s a way for us to be together,” shared Dolly in their submission video.

As flight attendants, Joe and Dolly arrange their layovers to be together in the same city to visit ballparks across the nation. Despite the fact that they don’t root for the same team, Dolly for the Texas Rangers, and Joe for the Cleveland Indians, they still use baseball as a whole to feed their love.

“We’re hoping baseball can make us a part of its world as much as it has already been a part of ours,” said Dolly.

The wedding will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center during the FanFest. Attendees of FanFest are invited to watch the ceremony from the bleachers.

The theme of the wedding will surely have a baseball twist with Scottsdale wedding planner Charlee Geisler as the mastermind behind it. Local phoenix businesses will also donate services for this epic event.

In addition to this public and special event, Joe and Dolly will receive a wedding package which includes a reception for 50 guests at Symphony Hall catered by Aventura Catering; wedding rings from Molina Fine Jewelers; as well as two rickets to the 82nd MLB All-Star Game. More goodies they scored include reception beverages provided by Budweiser, hotel stay provided by InterContinental Hotel Group, and more.
