Lights, camera, food! AZFoothills.com is proud to be the exclusive media partner of a unique opportunity to wine and dine amongst Hollywood greats coming to a resort near you! Starting this September and concluding in April 2012, Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain will be hosting the next instillation of “Hollywood Bites,” a series of dinners bringing together leading Hollywood figures, Valley locals and resort guests, with gourmet food.

Launched just last year, Hollywood Bites proved to be quite a hit at Sanctuary, evidenced by the sold-out rooms. Guests had the opportunity to engage exclusively with some of Hollywood’s icons, including the likes of writer-producer Philip Rosenthal, co-creator of “Everybody Loves Raymond, and director Jerry Zucker, “Airplane” and “Ghost.”

For this year’s series, more Hollywood talents are being booked for Sanctuary guests and Valley residents to enjoy. A-list director Paris Barclay, who has directed over 100 television episodes (Law & Order, Glee, Weeds, CSI, and many more of our favorites!), is already scheduled to appear Friday, September 23.

Created by the combined efforts of Sanctuary, Kevin Sandler, an associate professor in the Film and Media Studies program at Arizona State University, and Kevin Haasaurd, producer of HBO’s US COMEDY ARTS FESTIVAL, Hollywood Bites aimed to allow people the chance to have one-of-a-kind opportunity to get to know Hollywood movers and shakers.

“For the Hollywood talent, Sanctuary presents a warm and welcomed retreat. For the top chef, it presents a unique stage and audience. And for people in the Valley,” said co-producers Kevin Haasarud and Kevin Sandler, “it provides a rare opportunity to hear icons of the film and TV business share fun behind-the-scenes anecdotes while imbibing in brilliant food, wine and cocktails.”

“We’re thrilled to host these special dinners that not only bring the creative talents of Hollywood to Sanctuary to share their fun stories about making movies and television,” said Michael Surguine, VP & General Manager, “but to have it complemented with a world-class culinary experience.”

Sanctuary is already looking forward to highlighting their newly-expanded Culinary Weekend, which will feature many special events, including seminars, dinners, and tastings.

At a cost of $99 per person, which includes dinner, beverages, tax and a service charge, guests will be able to spend time with Hollywood icons over a five-star dinner and take part in this unique, intimate experience targeted for a maximum group of sixty.
