It’s the Law!
On November 30, 2010, Arizona state legislature passed a law allowing certain fireworks to be used without permits. Here are the details of the House Bill, minus the legal jargon.

-          Legal fireworks do not include anything that will rise into the air and explode.
-          “Display fireworks,” or illegal fireworks, include items commonly known as bottle rockets, sky rockets, Roman Candles, torpedoes, helicopters, etc.
-          “Consumer fireworks,” or legal fireworks, include small devices that will not rise or explode.
-          Usually, legal fireworks are meant to produce small sound or visual effects.
-          Some examples of legal fireworks are ground and hand-held sparklers, cone fountains, ground spinners, wheels, toy smoke devices, etc.

So, remember: if it flies high, it’s not right, if it stays down low, it’s a go!
