PHX Architecture teamed up with Salcito Construction to launch the start of a truly festive holiday Fundraiser  on November 21st with a VIP kickoff cocktail party for the 4th annual signature event - “A Holiday of Hope- Festival of Trees”  benefitting Phoenix Children’s Hospital kids and their families. The VIP Cocktail party included cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and the first look at the exclusive one of a kind holiday trees available for auction.  The weeklong fundraising event was sponsored by ACE Hardware, Modern Luxury Scottsdale magazine, and Syndicate PR.  This year the event was located at Fashion Square Mall near Neiman Marcus and Dillards.  The highlight was a heartfelt speech by a PCH patient Buddy P.about the amazing team at PCH while he was there during Christmas.

The stars of the event included custom designed, one of a kind, nine-foot tall trees by top local design and construction firms. The designers included Charles Glover Interiors, Esther Boivin Interiors, Debra May Himes, Elizabeth Donlan Quite Lovely Interiors, Palm Design, Sabrina Goin, Ownby Design, SB Design, Pulte Homes, and Salcito Custom Homes who each pulled out the stops to create show stopping trees.   Debra May Himes lead the talented group of design teams.

The beautifully decorated trees were all purchased, raising more than $41,000 with proceeds benefitting PCH, including a tree purchased by an anonymous donor who then gifted the tree to Buddy!  In addition to the trees, custom-made wreaths were also made by local designers and 100 hand-painted ornaments from Southwest Ornaments made specifically for the event. All items sold out, making this year the best yet!
