United Blood Services and Dunkin’ Donuts are teaming up to increase blood donations around the Memorial Day holiday. Donate at any blood drive or donor center May 24 to 30 and receive a voucher for a half-dozen donuts (valid only at participating metro-Phoenix locations), courtesy of Dunkin’ Donuts. Blood donations can decline by up to 25 percent during holiday weeks, but heavy traffic on the roads and highways can increase the potential for accidents and the need for blood.
