Uchi Scottsdale Launches Weekend Lunch Service in October

This fall, Uchi Scottsdale is introducing its first-ever lunch service, offering a new way to experience the restaurant’s signature fusion of tradition and innovation during the midday hours. Launching October 3, the new lunch menu will be available exclusively on weekends, Friday-Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The lunch menu features a selection of Uchi’s fan-favorites alongside new creations designed for daytime dining. Guests can opt for a three-course prix fixe menu for $25, featuring options such as the gem salad, sake crudo, or crispy Brussels sprouts. Entrées include the all-new Gruyère burger, the crispy rice, or the crowd-favorite Walu Walu. Each prix fixe menu ends on a sweet note with a seasonal sorbet.

For those seeking more variety, Uchi is also offering an Uchi Lunch Set, featuring the chef’s choice of nigiri and temaki, or a sushi omakase for $45, which includes curated highlights of nigiri and sashimi.

The menu features Uchi’s signature hot and cool tastings, including the ever-popular Hama Chili – yellowtail paired with ponzu and Thai chili – as well as indulgent offerings like the Hot Rock and Fried Milk dessert. Diners can also enjoy the Pork Katsu, made with Berkshire pork chop, truffle sauce, and miso apple purée.

Complementing the food are an array of beverages, including craft cocktails, sake, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options. Weekend specials will feature select drinks starting at just $5.

“Lunch at Uchi is about giving our guests the same refined, unexpected flavors we’re known for, in a format that’s approachable, quick, and perfect for the middle of the day,” Chef de Cuisine Blake Luecke said.

Uchi Scottsdale opened its doors in February 2023 as the seventh location from Hai Hospitality. The original Uchi was founded in 2003 by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole in a South Austin bungalow, built on the idea of bringing the artistry of the sushi bar experience to the entire dining room.

Since then, the brand has built a following for its blend of Japanese cuisine and seasonal menus. To learn more, visit uchirestaurants.com or follow @uchirestaurants on Instagram.
