Nobu Scottsdale is now opening its doors in the morning on weekends and offering its own high-end take on classic brunch fare. The updated menu features a mix of expected brunch options, as well as “Nobu classics,” nigiri and sashimi and sushi maki.

Included in the new menu offerings are honey toast with passionfruit ($17); sata andagi, a type of deep fried donut ($18); banana french toast ($16); steak and eggs toban ($52); and breakfast sausage bao ($12 per piece), among others.  The “classics” include yellowtail jalapeno ($36), A5 wagyu dumplings ($48), and glacier 51 chilean sea bass with dry miso ($52.)

Food isn’t the only new brunch offering at Nobu. Cocktails and mocktails abound with options like the $20 Lychee and Elderflower martini, made with Spring 44 Vodka, St. Germain Elderflower liqueur and lychee. The Qui Espresso features Qui Extra Añejo Platinum Tequila, cold-brewed espresso, oat milk, Kuromitsu and orange bitters. Or guests can order a twist on a classic with the Japanese Bloody Mary, made with Hokusetsu Junmai Sake, house made Bloody Mary mix, Serrano and Cilantro.

Nobu, which opened its Scottsdale location in 2020, mixes Mexican and Mediterranean influences in both its design and menu. The brunch menu is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nobu’s “Tanoshi Hour” is daily from 4 to 6 p.m., in the bar and lounge only. For more: noburestaurants.com.
