We think dessert isn’t something to be taken lightly. And we’re excited to hear that neither does Scottsdale Quarter’s Tanzy, thanks to the debut of its new custom-designed dessert cart.
Executive Pastry Chef James Rosselle has debuted a selection of Italian-inspired dessert creations to the menu–many of which can be spied on the new cart. Among the new desserts are Coffee and Doughnuts with vanilla-dusted doughnuts, mocha mousse, chocolate feuilletine, frozen coffee pebbles and coffee caramel; Floatanette with lime meringue, blackberry sorbet, shaved Italian lemon ice, lemon cream and caramel tuile; Italian Butter Cake with apricot glaze, blood orange cream, vanilla-scented citrus segments and honeycomb; (the following are seen on the cart) Red Infiniti Cake with raspberry red velvet cake, raspberry buttercream, farmers market raspberries, raspberry sauce and whipped cream; Concord Cake with chocolate mousse, chocolate meringue, chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, chocolate sauce and whipped cream; and a Cookie Tower with rainbow cookies, pistachio pavé, coconut macaroons, flourless brownies, tea cakes, farmers market strawberries and farmers market grapes.
“The new Tanzy dessert experience is every sweets lover’s fantasy,” says James Beard Award-winning chef and COO, Sherry Yard, in a press release. “The gold-trimmed black enamel cart rolls to each table with a lovely array of handmade desserts, pastries and cookie towers you want to grab right off the silver tray. It’s truly a show-stopping, jaw-dropping dining conclusion designed for guests of all ages to interact with and enjoy.”
