Attention food truck fans: The popular Street Eats food truck festival returns to Scottsdale’s Salt River Fields Jan. 25 and 26 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. More than 50 food trucks–that have wheeled in from everywhere from Arizona to Montana–will be in attendance. Food truck favorites, The Grilled Cheese Truck and Tom’s Pig Rig, will actually debut new food trucks: Two Fat Guys Grilled Cheese and Grilled Addiction.
On the contest stage, those with a big appetite will go head to head–or belly to belly–in a plethora of eating contests including Twinkie-, hot dog-, pie-, sandwich- and saltine cracker-eating contests. There will also be live music from School of Rock and a kids’ zone for the littles at Street Eats.
Looking for a more decadent eating experience? The Degree 270 VIP Lounge gives VIP guests welcome package that includes a drink voucher for six drinks at the VIP bar (includes non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages), four food tokens and VIP Lounge access, with live music by Talking Stick Resort’s Degree 270 and its exclusive DJs. VIP guests also will receive discount vouchers within their welcome packet filled with exclusive offers from metro area businesses, including Tour de Tavern, Brush Party and others.
General admission is $12; children 12 and under free. VIP tickets are $50 ($10 less than last year). www.saltriverfields.com.
