Elvira’s Scottsdale Unveils Summer Prix Fixe Menu; Announces New Dinner Service

Elvira’s at DC Ranch is turning up the heat with the debut of a $49 three-course prix fixe menu, available now through the end of August. In tandem with this seasonal offering, the modern Mexican restaurant is also preparing to expand to nightly dinner service beginning September 8.

Designed with local diners in mind, the prix fixe menu is available Wednesday through Sunday evenings and showcases Executive Chef Christopher George’s take on Latin-inspired cuisine.

Guests can build their own culinary journey by selecting one dish from each of three courses. The menu blends classic Mexican flavors with contemporary presentation, highlighting bold textures and local ingredients.

“For this menu, I’ve selected some of my personal favorites from our regular offerings, along with a few off-menu dishes we’ve been working on behind the scenes,” George said. “It’s a chance to experience a curated taste of Elvira’s and our way of offering something special for locals and guests – a thoughtfully crafted selection that highlights the best of what we do, at a great value.”

Each course of the prix fixe menu reflects the restaurant’s signature style: high-style, story-driven dishes that are rooted in tradition and adventurous in flavor. Starters range from roasted cauliflower with chipotle cream to a 72-hour wagyu short rib quesadilla with jalapeño aioli and cotija cheese. Other first-course offerings include a heirloom tomato and watermelon salad and filet mignon alambres with serrano chili oil.

For the main course, options such as the Filet de Res “Chemita” with jalapeño mash, or the tequila misoyaki-glazed cod with yam purée and citrus, deliver a balance of richness and nuance.

The ahi tuna tostada, dressed with serrano and mirepoix, adds a bright, coastal note, while the grilled prime flank steak with nopales and panela cheese keeps the flavors grounded in regional tradition. To finish, guests can choose between sweet, spiced donitas de churro with agave caramel or a trío de seasonal sorbets.

“This year’s menu digs deeper into our culinary identity,” George said. “From the agua chile on the burrata salad to the serrano-spiced tuna tostada, each dish tells a story. It’s soulful, celebratory and a little surprising.”

Starting September 8, the restaurant will begin offering dinner service seven nights a week, extending its hours from 5 to 10 p.m.
