Scottsdale’s Anhelo is opening a new chapter with the launch of its first-ever weekend brunch, bringing the restaurant’s precision, elegance, and culinary intention to the daytime table. Known for its intimate atmosphere and world-class wine program, Anhelo is extending its philosophy with a brunch experience that feels elevated and effortlessly relaxed.
The new brunch service represents the realization of a longtime passion for Chef Ivan Jacobo. While the idea once felt unattainable in downtown Phoenix, the move to Scottsdale has created the ideal environment for a brunch concept inspired by seasonality, the outdoors, and the natural rhythm of Arizona living.

“Brunch has always been something I’ve wanted to do, but only when it could be done with the same intention and care as our dinner service,” Chef Ivan said. “This menu reflects how I love to eat during the day – comforting, indulgent, and meant to be enjoyed slowly. It’s familiar, but elevated, and it finally feels like the right moment and the right setting to share it.”
Guests can choose to dine indoors at the table or bar, or outdoors in Anhelo’s courtyard patio, a serene escape framed by trees, greenery, and blooms. Brunch moves from refined morning classics to more substantial midday offerings, like avocado toast topped with burrata and a poached egg, salmon eggs Benedict finished with béarnaise and smoked roe, or a croque madame layered with Jamón Ibérico, gruyère, and mornay.
For those craving something heartier, the menu delivers with a decadent egg sandwich stacked with thick-cut pork belly, steak and salmon sandwiches, a brunch-ready burger, and Anhelo’s signature steak frites for guests fully leaning into lunch.

The menu also highlights raw bar selections and shareable favorites available throughout service. Options such as a chilled seafood platter, steak tartare and traditional caviar service encourage a more communal, leisurely dining experience. A sweet course rounds out the meal. Guests can choose from French toast, pancakes, buñuelo, foie gras and waffle, or a sticky toffee cinnamon roll.
This is brunch done the Anhelo way, where morning comfort meets midday indulgence in an elegant yet approachable setting. Reservations are available online. For more: anhelorestaurant.com.
