Melissa Maggiore Meyer, acclaimed restaurateur and daughter of the late culinary legend Tomaso Maggiore, has unveiled her latest dining concept in North Scottsdale: Patricia’s Pizza. Named in honor of both her mother and the Maggiore family’s original restaurant in Garnerville, New York, Patricia’s Pizza is a heartfelt tribute to decades of Italian culinary tradition.
“Patricia’s Pizza is deeply personal to me,” Maggiore Meyer said. “It’s a tribute to my mother and father, who built an incredible legacy here in the Valley. Every dish we serve is made with the same love and authenticity that started with my family’s first restaurant more than 50 years ago.”
Melissa grew up surrounded by the flavors and traditions of Italian cuisine. With a rich background in launching successful dining concepts across California and Arizona — including La Bruschetta in La Jolla, Zibibbo Italian Bistro in Encinitas, Tommy V’s Urban Kitchen in Carlsbad, and The Italian Daughter in North Scottsdale — she brings both passion and expertise to her latest venture.
Patricia’s Pizza offers a refined menu inspired by classic family recipes and made with the finest ingredients, many imported directly from Italy. Guests can enjoy hand-crafted Neapolitan and Sicilian square pizzas, salads, Italian sandwiches, and dishes such as Mom’s Baked Manicotti and the signature lasagna. Every bite reflects the Maggiore family’s long-standing dedication to quality and authenticity.
The restaurant features a welcoming 3,000-square-foot interior, a 500-square-foot patio, and an indoor-outdoor bar with a relaxed yet stylish setting. A vibrant blue brick pizza oven anchors the space, while personal touches, including family photos, give diners a sense of connection to the family.
Recognized nationally for her contributions to Italian cuisine, Maggiore Meyer was recently honored by the National Italian American Foundation in 2024, highlighting her continued influence on the culinary scene.
