Age: 32

Title: Realtor

Married/Single: Married 6-years to my wife, Lillie.

Kids: 2 Boys, Wyatt 6-yrs, & Theo 2-yrs.

City you live in: I live in Phoenix, in the Arcadia area.

A typical day in my life includes… 4:45/4:55 am (Wake-up), 5 am (Gratitude & Espresso), 5:30 am (Camelback Village Gym), 7:30 am (Drop-off Older Son at Villa School), 8 am (Office), 5 pm (Home), 7:30 pm (Pack/ for Next Day), 10 pm (Pass Out)… and Repeat.

I was born… Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, CA

My favorite thing about Arizona… There is something special about this State, from the diverse landscape, wildlife, the Sunsets, and the Valley surrounded by jagged mountain tops in the distance. And you can’t forget about all of the friendly people the southwest has to offer. I feel lucky to call it home.

I’m listening to… (literally ATM) Chattahoochee by Alan Jackson

My family… Semi-controlled chaos with two energetic boys under the age of five and my fiery Italian wife of 6 years.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… My “many greats ago” grandfather Edward Doty who traveled to the states on the Mayflower and was one of the signers of the Mayflower compact. He was a slave to the captain and was granted his freedom if he survived the trip.

One thing I cannot live without… My quiet mornings/ routine.

When I was younger, I wanted to be… A professional bass fisherman (If you’ve seen it, it plays on ESPN 3 lol, around the same time as Days of our Lives. I would record it on the VCR player before I left for school.)

I’m inspired by… folks who start from nothing or come from difficult backgrounds and make something of their life, no matter if that’s being an amazing parent or high-powered CEO. I just like a great success story.

The one person who motivates me is… There are too many people who have had an impact on my life, for me to name one. I was a troubled kid growing up. At some of the lowest points in my life, many folks stepped up and gave me their time. So if there’s a motivator, it’s to show that their time was worth giving to me.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… All of the surface talk. Go deeper in your conversations with others, “Yes, the weather is nice” but how are you really?

The perfect day would be… Lillie (My wife) and I driving down a rural desert road to some random place.

My first job was.. When I was 10, I had lawn mowing gig. I walked around my neighborhood, knocked on doors and charged $10-$20 per lawn depending on the size.

My favorite escape… Is an early morning, fishing on a lake or river.

My life… revolves around Real Estate, meeting new people, building a life worth living and being a role model for my kids.

I’m currently working on… Time. How to use it, and how to make it work for me.

Always… Be shameless and brazen in your pursuit of greatness, whatever that means for “You” as an individual.

Never… Discount a dream or an idea. As I get older, I realize how rare a great dream or idea is. When you’re younger, you seem to have a plethora of ideas. As life progresses, they can become more and more infrequent. Pick one, and stick with it until it proves otherwise.

Favorite Quote… “God, grant me the strength to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Biggest Dream… Write a published book

My Pet Peeve(s)… People who chew with their mouth open. Stop smackin.
