Age: 28

Title: Director of Aircraft Sales & Acquisitions

Kids: No kids

City you live in: Scottsdale

A typical day in my life includes… Cooking, Pilates, calls and emails to clients and co-workers, taking a pulse on the aircraft market and focusing on that day’s priorities.

I was born… in Illinois.

My favorite thing about Arizona… That it’s a state there are so many diverse activities and restaurants to try. I’ve lived in Arizona since 2015, and every time I think I’ve tried everything, something new pops up.

I’m listening to… If you were to look at my Audible account it’s quite a diverse collection of books but two stand out above the others: “Never Split the Difference” by Chris Voss and “Talking to Strangers” by Malcolm Gladwell.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Anthony Bourdain.

One thing I cannot live without… Freedom. In a nation that some days feels divided, one thing that unites us is our freedom.

When I was younger, I wanted to be… A garbage man, because they got to ride on the outside of the truck. To my 7-year-old self, this seemed like a super wild thing to do. Flash forward 21 years, and while I didn’t end up becoming a garbage man, I did end up with an extreme sense of adventure.

I’m inspired by… those who have risen up in the face of failure and achieved their dreams.

The one person who motivates me is… I’m blessed to be surrounded by friends and family who inspire and encourage me, but the “person” who motivates me is more of an idea. I’m motivated by the idea of what I can become in three, five and ten years’ time.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be… Human trafficking. This is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. Hearing the horrific stories and meeting survivors has left a lasting impact on my heart and it will be a lifelong goal of mine to help make an impact.

The perfect day would be… A fall day that started with hot tea on my patio soaking up the sunlight, followed by client meetings or social events throughout the day, yoga after work, and a home-cooked meal.

My first job was… Working as a barista at a local coffee house. I was 14.

My favorite escape… Getting out into nature and relaxing with a coffee or cocktail.

My life… is something I’m grateful for every day.

I’m currently working on… deepening my knowledge and connections within the aviation community and helping Paradise Jets grow to the next level.

Always… Remember “Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.” – Mark Twain

Never… Be afraid to start over, to re-create yourself, and live out your dreams

Favorite Quote… I have a few favorites, but the one that sticks out as my most used is:  “Bitterness is the poison we drink, in hopes of it killing the other person.” I don’t know who said this originally but I love it. It’s a reminder we can all use from time to time.

Biggest Dream… To leave a positive impact on the people and causes I am involved with throughout the course of my life.

My Pet Peeve(s)… Tardiness and laziness.
