A typical day in my life includes: A morning workout, time at the office, orchestrating family logistics, coaching youth sports, and having a family dinner filled with stories and jokes.
I was born… in Alexandria, VA. I was raised in Panama City, FL.
My favorite thing about Arizona… It is an incredibly accepting state, especially for people who were not raised in Arizona.
I’m listening to… Books on tape including The End Of The World Is Just The Beginning, by Peter Zeihan and The Right Call, by Sally Jenkins.
My family… Always has something in action. We have very few dull moments.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Elon Musk, Dave Chappelle, Jocko Willink – with my entire family.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… a marine biologist.
I’m inspired by… The sick kids and their families who fight for their health every day.
The one person who motivates me is… My mom. She is the hardest working, toughest, and most competitive person I know. (Love you, Mom)
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… see the humor in things, maybe that would help us work together a bit better.
The perfect day would be… Spent outdoors with my family, preferably on a boat.
My first job was… being a groundskeeper at Zoo world, Panama City Beach.
My favorite escape… is boating and scuba diving.
My life… is blessed. I have an awesome family and friends.
I’m currently working on… Helping support Phoenix Children’s. I was grateful to be part of our recent PCH50 signature fundraising event, Off The Record, which has raised nearly $3 million for Phoenix Children’s since 2017.

Bio on yourself/company: Alex Dunn is the Senior Vice President of Operations of Hensley Beverage Company; a 1,400-employee, multi-state distributor, based in Phoenix for over 65 years. Alex is an experienced executive leader with expertise in wholesale distribution, supply chain, human resources, and retail operations. He is also a proud dad of three sons and currently serves as the President of PCH50. PCH50 is formed by a group of community leaders under 50 years old who are dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Phoenix Children’s Foundation.
