Married/Single: Married

City you live in: Phoenix

A typical day in my life includes…

first coffee and breakfast. I work from home so I make my way to my home office and get started on whatever I have going on at the time. I write a weekly events guide for the Phoenix section of Thrillist.com. I also freelance for a content marketing agency called ClearVoice. I generally start my mornings with writing work and finish the day with social media work and other projects. Most days end with a trail run or a workout at Mountainside Fitness. And, in food media there’s always something going on like a restaurant opening or new menu launch. These type of events fill my calendar.

I was born…

in California.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

Arizona, and Phoenix in general, has this under-the-radar vibe. There’s a lot of cool things happening right here when it comes to food, music, sports, arts, outdoors.

I’m listening to…

true crime podcasts and JRE.

My family…

taught me responsibility, how to lead, and think for myself.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

someone who appreciates good wine, can make good conversation and is game to order all of the desserts on the menu.

One thing I cannot live without…

dark chocolate.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a news anchor. I landed in Arizona to attend ASU to study journalism and communications.

I’m inspired by…

people who have unwavering work ethics in varying aspects of their lives.

The one person who motivates me is…

so many people motivate me in so many different ways. There’s too many to narrow it down to just one.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

is this where I am supposed to say “world peace” or something like that?

The perfect day would be…

the perfect day.

My first job was…

on my family farm in Linn County, Oregon (the Grass Seed Capital of the World) driving a tractor for my grandpa’s hay business. My family is currently transforming the property into hazelnut tree fields. And they also sell organic eggs to the local community. I created the website, content, and social media pages for Red Hen Farm.

My favorite escape…

any place without Internet.

I’m currently working on…

building my business and growing my client list both locally and regionally.

Always…

give your all.

Never…

quit.

Favorite Quote…

“Leave it better than you found it.”

Biggest Dream…

I’m living it.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

noisy eaters.
