Married/Single: Married

Kids: No kids, but I do have two Maltese fur babies named Lilly and Jake.

City you live in: Chandler, AZ

A typical day in my life includes…

a great cup of coffee and my devotional time to start me off, communication with my teammates and colleagues around the world, education of some sort (we can never stop learning) and love and laughter to keep all of the challenges in perspective!

I was born…

inNorwalk, CT.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

I love the beauty of the desert, the heart of the people and the wealth of opportunity our state offers the wonderful people who choose to live here.

I’m listening to…

I’m into audiobooks at the moment. We live in challenging, evolving times and our world has remarkable complexities, including perspectives and information that only make us better when we seek to understand them. I feel we have a responsibility to keep ourselves educated, current and relevant as we age to better navigate these changes and transformations.

My family…

includes myhusband, Ken and five siblings.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

If we’re talking about someone who is no longer in this physical world it would be both my parents one last time. I’d want to tell them how thankful I am for providing everything I needed to grow into a competent, confident and capable woman who will always strive to make a significant mark on the world. If we’re talking about someone who is alive and well, it would be Tim McGraw. 😊

One thing I cannot live without…

my faith, close family and close friends.

When I was younger, I wanted to be: A psychologist specialized in child development.

I’m inspired by…

many, many people. I’m blessed to travel the world and witness amazing people who have had so little achieve so much. I see acts of grace and kindness that are just a way of life for some yet life-altering for those on the receiving end. People who practice those acts routinely inspire me to search deep within myself for the commitment to carry those same acts forward in my life.

However, if I have to highlight one person who has inspired me the most, it would be my mother. She recently passed away just shy of 95 and lived her life full of grace, elegance, integrity and a voracious appetite for learning. She embodied a complete acceptance of diversity, spoke with a vocabulary I have yet to see matched and gave endless encouragement to others to reach heights they had never dreamed of. Having lived through WWII, the Depression and ever-changing times, she embraced challenges as opportunities to learn more about herself. Self-educated, married with six children and widowed in her prime, she raised me to be curious, confident, independent and bold. She raised me to persevere and to invest in people always, even if they don’t know it. I am blessed beyond measure to have had her as my mother, friend, mentor and inspiration.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

I would educate people on the value of diversity and instill the importance of grace and encouragement.

The perfect day would be…

enjoying a great cup of coffee, a wonderful book, a long walk along a deserted beach and plenty of distraction-free time to spend with my loved ones.

My first job was…

working at an ice cream parlor in Norwalk, CT.

My favorite escape…

the beach and a fantastic book or a great round of golf!

My life…

is meaningless without my faith and great relationships.

I’m currently working on…

becoming a better leader, growing my knowledge and skills to produce more impactful results for our business and staff and trying to find a better balance between what is critical vs. important.

Always…

seek to understand, offer a hand up, extend grace and be humble.

Never…

assume…it can take you down a dramatically unnecessary path.

Favorite Quote…

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Biggest Dream…

to hug my parents one more time.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

are inconsideration, slow cars in the fast lane of the highway and when people don’t use coasters! 😉
