A typical day in my life includes…

no two days are alike and I would not have it any other way. My daily interactions with my family and the community I serve leaves me fulfilled.

I was born…

in Berrien Springs, Michigan and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

is the outdoor life and the various landscapes you can experience from here in the Valley to the red rocks of Sedona to the beautiful city in the sky of Flagstaff.

I’m currently listening to…

I love listening to a diverse genre of music from jazz to classical music. My current playlist includes Kenny G, Will Downing, Jay-Z and Marvin Sapp.

My family…

we will use our commitment to love and education to make ourselves better and impact the lives of others in a positive way.

If I could have dinner with anyone it would be…

Muhammad Ali.

One thing I cannot live without…

my faith in God!

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a history teacher.

I am inspired by…

family.

The one person who motivates me is…

my mother.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

that no one would ever go to bed hungry.

The perfect day would be…

driving along the California coast line.

My first job was…

delivering newspapers when I was 12 years old.

My favorite escape…

is driving on the highway listening to music with my family.

My life…

is great with many opportunities to help others achieve goals they never thought they could complete.

I am currently working on…

a plan to help young people find employment through my volunteer roles on Goodwill board and President advisory for Rio Salado College.

Always…

show appreciation and thanks for those who have paved the way for me.

Never…

take life for granted, knowing each day I have more lives to touch with kindness and direction.

Favorite quote…

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Biggest dream…

that all young people have the opportunity for leadership and community service where they have the opportunity travel abroad to complete missions to help others.

My Pet Peeve…

is the lack of counseling services available to help young people understand and challenge themselves during adolescence.  Another pet peeve is the lack of character that some people exude during business and life interactions.
