A typical day in my life includes…

heyo it’s 6 a.m., good morning Lila. She takes up the role of my personal alarm clock and we start our routine. Both of us grab a quick snack and entertain each other outside before I concoct a coffee drink and update my social media accounts. I currently attend school full-time at ASU (W.P. Carey Digital & Integrated Marketing) and serve in a restaurant so most of my days revolve around my work schedule. However, when I am not cracking down on assignments or stationed at my second home, you’ll find me analyzing trends, creating content, cooking, spending time with friends, or cleaning!

I was born…

into the end of the great 1999 era when the Y2k meltdown was prevalent, Napster dominated the music industry, and Eminem and The Matrix still “hit”.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

the random rain showers we experience, especially when the sun is present or setting. I appreciate any type of rain in Phoenix but driving during this time is surreal. The roads become glossed over with a gorgeous overlay of sunset reflection. I am fortunate enough to be well-traveled and I have yet to see a more vibrant sky!

I’m listening to…

a new tune or podcast every day. It depends on my mood!

My family…

is a rare mix of Germans, Russian Jews, and Ukrainians. They are hardworking, unique, and a lot to handle at times. I love them very much and couldn’t see myself fitting anywhere else.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Gordon Ramsay or Chrissy Teigen.

One thing I cannot live without…

is Russian music, which has a way of telling a story with passion. It brings me back to my roots and keeps me speaking and singing in my first language.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

a professional ballet dancer, a UFC fighter, an actress, a spy. Anything is possible!

I’m inspired by…

a blank slate, in other words, change. I believe it’s necessary for personal and mental growth. Although I have a difficult time accepting change, I feel inspired when I breach that barrier.

The one person who motivates me is…

not just one person but a unit of 2. I look to my mother and stepfather for a motivational boost. As a first-generation American, I believe that they’ve given their worlds to me and continuously strive to give me the resources, attention, and knowledge needed to build myself into a successful and independent adult. I want to work harder and be more for all of my family.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

the general mindset of many people. I think we all need a real sense of community, which is hard to come by when influential individuals are ignorant. Of course, it’s an idealistic view because not everything is black and white.

The perfect day would be…

filled with laughable moments, cultural experiences, new adventures.

My first job was…

technically a cat-sitter or employee at my first high school store, but I’d like to think it was at the YAP USA dog boutique (previously at Scottsdale Quarter). It was my first real job where I got to hold the keys. My responsibilities included opening and closing the store, processing payments, and maintaining inventory. I understood the value of money, I learned how to sell, and I learned how to communicate with people. That’s when I started feeling like a million bucks receiving my first checks. I am extremely grateful for the store owner Diane for taking me in, showing me the ropes, and allowing me the opportunity to operate the space! I miss those days at YAP. Lila and I would spend our time taking care of duties, hanging out, dancing around, and meeting interesting animals and individuals.

My favorite escape…

is dancing, taking a long drive, escaping into somewhere surrounded by greenery.

My life…

is just beginning. Let’s see where I take it!

I’m currently working on…

transitioning out of the restaurant industry and into the marketing profession, specifically in the digital realm. The more skills I gain, the more jobs I apply to, and the more I network, the quicker I will be able to allocate more time to building my brand and businesses. Apart from my main goal, I am currently working on exploring my creative side through digital art and fashion.

Always…

always try to be truthful to yourself and others, it usually reveals itself anyways.

Never…

stop asking questions. If you don’t ask, the answer is always a no.

Favorite Quote…

“Take care of yourself before helping others.” If you have no strong foundation to give to yourself, how can you consistently give to others?

Biggest Dream…

I am definitely a daydreamer so there are many of those. One of my biggest dreams is to work on a video game and see it come to life.

My Pet Peeve(s)….

phone zombies. zzz
