At the core of Sarah’s work is helping people show up online in a way that truly reflects who they are. She blends content strategy and creative direction to help brands build communities, grow their reach, and “look incredible doing it.”
“I do this through my two brands: Sarah Vitel Photo, where I create imagery that tells a story, and Social by Sheba, where that creativity turns into strategy,” Sarah said.
AZF: What is your “life motto”?
My motto is “create joy.” I’ve learned that mindset is everything and how you choose to see a situation shapes the outcome. Even in challenges, I try to find the good, because that energy always comes back around.
AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path for you?
Honestly, no! I wanted to work in house at a large publication or fashion brand. But over time, I realized the 9-5 lifestyle was not best suited for me, and my business naturally grew.
AZF: How do you feel best supported?
I feel best supported when I have a strong community of fellow entrepreneurs by my side. Truly, I’ve come to learn that connection is EVERYTHING. It’s the reason I do what I do. I love connecting with all my clients and learning about their struggles and helping them. Also, your girl always feels supported by referrals!
What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
The freedom of schedule and choice that comes with entrepreneurship.
AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
It’s a slow morning, I wake up to a home-cooked breakfast, throw on some comfy clothes and then head out for a coffee from a new shop that just opened. And I go thrifting with a friend right afterward.
AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
Don’t resistant asking for help. You will need it. You are not meant to run your business alone. It’s a way better experience with the right people by your side.
AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?
What excites me most about being an entrepreneur is the limitless possibility, the ability to collaborate with so many different people and help transform how they show up online. No two days or projects are ever the same, and I love that. I also value the freedom that comes with being your own boss. It gives me the flexibility to travel, stay creative, and design a life that truly inspires my work.
