A typical day in my life includes…

I am a pretty routined person. I wake up, drink my celery juice, coffee, and a cold-pressed juice. I journal and set up my to-do list for the day. I go to the gym, lift weights, and film workout videos. I come home, edit the workout videos, and work on my business and blog stuff.

I was born…

in Phoenix, AZ.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

all the healthy restaurants and cool workout places we have plus, the amazing weather.

I’m listening to…

rap music and podcasts. My favorite podcasts are The Skinny Confidential Him & Her, What We Said, and The Balanced Blonde.

My family…

is my everything, my biggest supporters, motivators, and fun time. I am super appreciative to have such a close-knit family.

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Lauryn Evarts Bosstick. She is the creator of The Skinny Confidential. I look up to the brand she has built and her knowledge of being a badass entrepreneur.

One thing I cannot live without…

MUSIC and movement. These are two of the best therapies for me. They motivate, inspire, get me out of my head, and make me feel alive.

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

famous. I have always loved performing and growing up I was always dancing and putting on shows for my family. I would ask my parents why I wasn’t the one on tv and try and convince them to get me an agent.

I’m inspired by…

people who live out their passions, use their voice to connect, help others and have created a life of freedom to travel and create their own schedule.

The one person who motivates me is…

my mom. She is a major fitspo, my best friend and the most amazing mother a daughter could ask for. I admire how the family is her #1 and how selfless she is. She gives the best life advice and has sculpted me into the woman I am today.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

for people to have good morals and values. I want people to treat others the way they’d want to be treated. People remember how you make them feel.

The perfect day would be…

wake up, drink my coffee and journal. Hit up my favorite breakfast spots (Kaleidoscope or Sunlife Organics), lift weights, connect with women and young girls about fitness and health. Throw in some shopping and end the night eating at a fun, healthy restaurant.

My first job was…

working at Lululemon and teaching dance to young girls.

My favorite escape…

is dancing and lifting weights. I love putting on music, improving to it or crushing it in the gym. Movement has always been my therapy.

My life…

is pretty amazing and I am extremely grateful for all the family and friends in my life. It’s also been a lot of growth and learning experiences. From healing myself from Lyme disease, not going to college, starting my own business at 21 years old. Lots of ups and downs, but I wouldn’t trade my life for the world.

I’m currently working on…

growing my personal brand online through sharing my workouts, recipes, tips, and tricks for a lean body. I have just launched two ebooks that help women and young girls feel strong and confident with their bodies.

Always…

drinking an excessive amount of beverages, listening to music, or a podcast. I also am always working on becoming a better version of myself. I try to consistently be growing, learning, evolving, and having fun.

Never…

would I sacrifice my morals to get somewhere or to achieve something.

Favorite Quote…

“Be fearlessly authentic.”

Biggest Dream…

marry my best friend, have adorable kids, travel the world motivating and teaching others to live out their dreams.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

when people have surface-level conversations and don’t care to ask about others’ lives. I love deep life talks and find superficial conversations completely boring.

More about Ambry…

Growing up I was a competitive dancer and thought that was going to be my career path until I was diagnosed with Lyme disease in my junior year of high school. My health struggles have been the biggest blessing in disguise. It forced me to see the importance of taking care of my body and grew my passion for wellness. I recently launched Glow Girl Guides, my health and fitness ebooks. These were created to help women and young girls build the bodies of their dreams. I want them to feel strong and confident within their bodies, inspired for the “Girl on the Glow” – the girl who is busy chasing her dreams but wants to crush her fitness and health goals.
