City you live in: I’m living in Ollantaytambo, Peru for a year!

A typical day in my life includes…

twenty minutes of meditation in the morning, coffee, (attempted) workouts, fashion blogs, books, animal cuddles, Netflix episodes, Pinterest, jokes with friends, conversations with family, Instagram, murder podcasts and a loooot of food.

I was born…

on June 29, 1996 in San Francisco, California and, speaking as an outside, third-party observer, I was one gorgeous, albeit chubby, baby.

My favorite thing about Arizona…

I love the natural beauty of the Arizona desert. I’ve done my fair share of road trips through different parts of the U.S. but none compare to those I’ve done in Arizona. There’s a strange beauty that is often overlooked by people “just passing through” and normally I would be one of them, but I’ve had the great pleasure of spending a few days in the desert where I was inspired by the diverse life forms that prosper there against all odds who taught me that life finds a way. I carry that lesson with me always…the desert has so much to teach us!

I’m listening to…

oh god, almost half the time it’s something embarrassing so I’m going to talk about the other half. I love certain songs from all genres, I don’t love all songs in one genre, but recently I’ve been loving French café music. My dream is to learn French and move to Paris someday so that may have something to do with it. I love love love 60s, 70s and 80s rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Neil Young, Elton John, Simon & Garfunkel, Eagles, Jimi Hendrix, etc. I also watched Bohemian Rhapsody a few weeks ago and have been on a Queen bender ever since! When I’m not listening to music from 50+ years ago, I find myself drawn to my indie playlist 90% of the time. Sometimes I’ll switch to my rap playlist (pretty much all EMINEM) or my beatz playlist with all those DJ guys.

My family…

is the most important, most powerful thing in my life. I wouldn’t be anywhere without them!

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…

Van Gogh. I would love to pick his insanely crazy, insanely genius, insanely creative brain. Him or the Buddha. Orrrr someone in the fashion industry who will give me a job 🙂

One thing I cannot live without…

CLOTHESSSSS!

When I was younger, I wanted to be…

I knew with my whole heart that I was going to be the next Hannah Montana. No question. And now I finally get to fulfill that dream with my double life as the pop star Selena Gomez! (think about it… have you ever seen me and Selena in the same room?)

I’m inspired by…

too many people and places and things to name! The universe is my inspiration!

The one person who motivates me is…

I have two people who motivate me equally and those people are my mom and my dad. They both grew up without any money and worked their asses off so that my sister and I could live comfortable lives. I am inspired by them every day and want to make them proud by working hard to become the strong, independent woman their sacrifices have allowed me to be. I also hope to reciprocate their generosity someday.

If I could change anything in the world, it would be…

for people to stop being afraid of other people/things that are different from them.

The perfect day would be…

spent doing something I’ve never done before in a place I’ve never been before.

My first job was…

my dream job (at the time) as a Stylist at Free People.

My favorite escape…

is anywhere by myself, I am an introvert to a fault.

My life…

has been blessed with so many extraordinary people and once-in-a-lifetime experiences!

I’m currently working on…

changing the things I can, accepting the things I can’t.

Always…

welcome change and personal growth.

Never…

let the opinions of others change your opinion of yourself.

Favorite Quote…

“I took a deep breath and listened to the old bray of my heart. I am. I am. I am.” – Sylvia Plath

Biggest Dream…

to be happy and successful, wherever I am in life.

My Pet Peeve(s)…

I’ll be the first to say I’m not the MOST patient person so one of my biggest pet peeves is when someone does anything very slowly. Some examples: when someone takes 20 minutes to tell a 5-minute story, when someone takes 4 hours to get ready, when someone walks/drives like a turtle, etc. (you get the point).
