On the Market: The Iconic ‘Brady Bunch’ Home in North Hollywood

The house that served as the iconic “Brady Bunch” home in America’s beloved 1970s sitcom can now belong to a lucky homeowner.

Located in the suburbs of North Hollywood, Calif., the 5,140-square-foot home has been listed for sale at $5,500,000 by HGTV, which bought the home in 2018 and “meticulously” rebuilt and designed the home to replicate the television show’s original set design.

As shown on the HGTV’s series, “A Very Brady Renovation,” the mid-century home’s massive $1.9 million transformation saw the addition of 2,000 square feet to the property, including a full second story, plus many of the iconic features from “The Brady Bunch” home that viewers can nostalgically recall from the show.

From the groovy attic, infamous floating staircase and bright orange formica kitchen countertops to the blue and pink bunk beds and the kids’ Jack-n-Jill bathroom, the renovated home is a piece of pop culture history and takes those who step inside back in time to the days and family adventures of the Brady bunch. The backyard even comes complete with a swing set, teeter totter and Tiger’s dog house. Curated furnishings and accessories are also included in the sale, according to the listing.

The L.A. home features five bedrooms and five baths and is situated on a sprawling 12,000-square-foot lot lined with citrus trees near the Los Angeles river. The home’s interior offers soaring ceilings, big windows and sliding glass doors that help fill the space with Southern California’s natural light.

According to the listing, “The Brady Bunch” house is one of the most photographed homes in the U.S. after the White House and will have security guards on site at all hours during the duration of the sale.
