Roll out the red carpet this fall for the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain, a world-class, 250-room resort that has been dubbed the largest and most comprehensive Ritz-Carlton project in the nation by the New York Times. Once complete, the 850-acre master-planned community will be the ultimate in vacationing and luxury living overlooking the picturesque Tortilla Mountains in Tucson. Enveloping the emerald green grasses are the resort, residences, a world-class spa, a championship golf course and uncompromising views.

The residences offer discriminating clientele an elite second-home opportunity where their property would not only be managed but maintained by the resort. The landscape is peppered with 20-plus luxury estates offering eight customizable residences (ranging from 1,900 to 5,400 square feet) and custom lots to build upon. Residents of the Ritz are allowed access to several of the resort’s world-class amenities, including an optional in-house chef and cleaning services.

The Spa at the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain is an expansive 17,000-sq.-ft. sanctuary embracing the desert’s natural elements of wood, fire, earth and water. Of its services, which include skin prescriptions, touch therapy, body remedy, and water cures (or massage, facials, body treatments, hydrotherapy and nail services), the signature aromatherapy treatment enlists an on-staff master aromatherapist to customize essential oils that enhance the 100-year-old tradition of healing and enhancing one’s well-being.

Outside, legendary golf architect Jack Nicklaus has created a challenging 27-hole course—the first for Tucson in more than 25 years. Anchoring the greens is a 50,000-sq.-ft. clubhouse offering members a state-of-the-art facility to relax, refresh and refuel. Come February, the Ritz will host its first annual Accenture Match Play Championship where the top 64 golf pros will compete for the tournament’s top trophy.

At night relax at the resort’s signature dining venue, Core Kitchen & Wine Bar. At its helm is chef de cuisine, Joel Harrington. The restaurant’s 250-seat, open-kitchen concept allows diners to see the chef and his culinary team firsthand and watch them prepare and plate their entrees. Core Kitchen will serve up contemporary American cuisine with coasted and desert influences. Look for grilled meats and seafood to grace the menu.
