Knock the back to school blues away by taking the kids for a treat while summer is still in session. Summer is the ideal time for parents to treat their children to a round of golf at one of two award-winning courses at Omni Tucson National Resort.
From now through September 6, 2010, children ages five through 17 can play and eat for free when each child plays with an accompanying adult. Children's lunch includes a hot dog, chips, and chilled drink. Green fees for adults are $40 (price does not include tax or gratuity). This package is available seven days a week and includes unlimited range balls.
For a single adult playing with more than two children, a $10 green fee per child and $5 lunch fee will be charged. This offer is available at both of Omni Tucson's highly acclaimed championship courses: the Catalina Course, home of many PGA Tour events, and the scenic Sonoran Course.
On the other side of town, the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain has a continuing summer golf deal perfect for a day on the course with kids. Through September, kids can play 18 holes for free daily after 1 p.m. when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
In addition to 18, kids 15 and under can join in on lessons with a staff professional when taken with a paying adult. One adult per child is the only stipulation.
