The event, also hosted at the Sierra Vista location on June 15 & 16, benefits Jared Allen’s ‘Homes 4 Wounded Warriors.’ The charity works to build handicap-accessible homes for wounded veterans returning from active duty. The event is $5 per person, or $20 for a group of five. Tickets to the events are available at the restaurant.

The Lodge is celebrating the ‘lodge spirit’ by inviting Tucsonans to join in on the Timberworks Lumberjack Performances. Guests will experience lodge-themed shows made up of logging competitions of the early 1900s each day. The events aim to incorporate history, sportsmanship, comedy, and celebration into the shows.

Guests can eat some of the mouth-watering Sasquatch-sized dishes while watching the very same Timberwork Lumberjack Shows that have entertained for over 25 years. The show includes such competitions as axe throwing, underhand and chopping, log rolling, hot sawing, cross cut sawing, chainsaw carving, and more. The shows will be repeated three times each day.

Lumberjack competitions provide entertainment for the whole family, and a unique, historical way of enjoying the weekend. Add flair to your weekend by attending the event and sampling some of the best dishes in Tucson.
