The dish on which restuarant... and are the company's claims of being different really true?

The employees of the new Raising Cane's in Phoenix look forward to  actor Frankie Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle) zipping thru the drive thru. Besides placing his order for chicken fingers  - he'll chat with them about his musical career. Yes, the former child actor now lives in a beautiful 5,400 sq. ft. home in Phoenix, not far from one of two of the Raising Cane's locations at 44th and Thomas St.

Frankie's now the drummer in Kingsfoil- a rock band based in Pennsylvania. So with his busy travel schedule the convenience of Raising Cane's drive-thru is convenient for him. Not to mention the fact that it's more of a fresh food option when he's craving some fast food chicken fingers. That's because Raising Cane's uses only fresh chicken as opposed to frozen. And people who have become regulars  like Frankie-(eating inside the restaurant too of course) are known as Caniacs.

The fast growing chain of 126 restaurants in 16 states which has its roots in Louisiana is also known for its delicious signature Cane's sauce. Not to mention the lemonade with crushed ice that compliments the fries and Texas toast.

How can this company serve the fresh quality chicken finger meals and still be a fast food restaurant? Well, they say that's why they specialize in one menu only.  And the MRG - Micatrotto Marketing and Management Company which owns five locations Phoenix and Las Vegas locations is making efforts to be a part of the community.

MEMORIAL DAY donations:

If you are in town on Memorial Day… both the locations of Raising Cane's in Phoenix are donating 100% of it's profits for the day on Memorial Day to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.

By the way..  if you don't follow Frankie Muniz on twitter, you might be able to ask one of the employees at the Phoenix location of Raising Cane's - where Frankie's band is playing next.  Stay tuned!
