And if you’re team isn’t up to par, you are allowed to trade players; however, the deal has to be submitted before a predetermined trade deadline.  In relation, any player that remains undrafted among your league is considered a free agent—that means he can be signed by any team on a first-come, first-serve basis.  (Of course, you can’t exceed your roster, so you might have to surrender a player to gain a new one.)

Since we’re approaching the start of September, this would be a good time to organize your league through websites like Yahoo! or ESPN.com.  Draft is a fun happy-hour activity, or you can easily get the job done via your virtual Fantasy hub. 

When it’s your turn to pick, you’ll obviously choose the best guys available.  Chances are you probably haven’t heard of many of the players, but a handful of legit websites offer helpful tips.  For instance, NFL.com is ranking a number of Fantasy players you’ll want to get your hands on; topping the list:  Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, Michael Vick, and Darren McFadden. 

Trust me, Fantasy Football makes watching any given game a lot more interesting.  Your man will definitely appreciate your newfound knowledge, despite his possible hesitation allowing you in the living room on his precious Sunday. However, some friendly fantasy-inspired competition never hurt anyone. 

Congratulations, football is now your fortae too.
