Need an escape?  How about some R&R at one of Scottsdale's boutique hot spots?  Here's an A-list look at the resort, and how you can cash in on its celebrity treatment.

If you're looking for a place to find peace, Scottsdale has your sanctuary.

Nestled amidst Camelback Mountain, is the boutique resort bound to give you a breath of fresh air.  It's called Sanctuary--no doubt you've heard of it, but chances are you haven't experienced the escape like an A-list celeb.

That's because a bunch of benjamins can buy you quite the luxurious getaway; so sit back, relax, and take a moment to take in Scottsdale's ultimate spot to stay-cay.

Our staycation began checking into the chic Scottsdale resort.  That's when a golf-cart picked us up, transporting us to "Amethyst X," our humble abode for one night only.

The so-called "Spa Suite" is nearly 1,200 square feet--definitely bigger than my former Old Town condo.  Walk in, and your greeted by Ligne Roset furniture--heard of it?  The upscale, elite contemporary collection gives the living room a savvy physique, but that's just the beginning of our accommodations.

The bedroom boasts a plush, king size bed, with doors opening up to the bathroom big enough for a family of five.  But the best part of all--at least in my opinion--was the private feng shui-flared patio sporting a soaking tub smack in the middle.  (Guys, this is definitely the room to request when you want to woo your woman.)

After "ooh'ing and ah'ing" over the stocked suite, it was time to meet Gary, apparently the most requested masseuse at the majestic resort.

Truth be told, I had never experienced a massage courtesy of a male, so this was a welcomed first.

After putting on the spa robe and slippers and soaking in the Sanctuary's serene spa facility, Gary led me to my pampering room for the following 60 minutes.  I now understand why the go-to guy is overflowing with fans--he took such TLC untightening my muscles.

And if you're looking for a hot spot to savor the Valley sun, Sanctuary's infinity pool is the place to cool off.  Chilling out poolside is a perfect way to wrap up a spa-filled afternoon.

Following freshening up, it was time to savor the sunset over the best sipper I've ever had.  Sanctuary is a top spot to sky-watch, especially when you have a jalapeno martini in tow.  It's a must-try drink if you prefer a refreshing mixture of sweet and spicy.

The day packed with R&R surely worked up our appetite, so we soon found ourselves in a private booth at Elements, the resort's premiere restaurant.

ChefBeauMacMillan

Did you know a TV star runs the elite eatery? Yep, Elements' Chef Beau MacMillan ("Beaumac") dueled knives on Food Network's "Iron Chef America," beating out the famed Bobby Flay.  They butted heads over kobe beef, but our Valley culinary pro won the hearts (and stomachs) of the judges.  And according to Food Network, the Sanctuary chef is also the personal cook for Wayne Gretzky, and has created delectable dishes for President Bush, Britney Spears, and U2.

Lucky for us, we filled up on the contemporary cuisine.  I will say, however, our appetizer and dessert topped the five course meal.  You'll definitely want to order the fiery calamari and complete your night with Elements' peanut butter and chocolate concoction.  OMG.

Oh, and request David.  He was an excellent server.

And then it was time to take a dip in our outdoor soaking tub--trust me, you'll want one of your own for your backyard.  Add some bubbles, and your baby will surely be impressed by your romantic ways.  It's an A-plus ending to an A-list staycation.
