With that in mind, Ottawa University-Arizona (OUAZ) partnered with the Phoenix Zoo to sponsor its Mexican gray wolf habitat in an effort to boost awareness of the endangerment this beautiful species. AZ Giving: Ronald McDonald House Charities Names New CEO

Following a national search, Kerry Schulman, who has been the chief operations officer at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central and Northern Arizona (RMHC-CNAZ), has been named chief executive officer by the RMHC-CNAZ board of directors. Schulman, a former McDonald’s owner-operator, begins her new responsibilities this week. A national search will be conducted for her replacement as chief operations officer.

AZ Giving: Connections of Hope Gala

This year’s Connections of Hope Gala is less than a month away and is one of the most powerful events in the Valley. The Gala benefits a statewide program called Teen Lifeline, a suicide prevention hotline made by teens, for teens who are struggling and need guidance. Whether it be stress venting or a final resource, Teen Lifeline experts work 365 days a year in hopes of assisting callers toward healing and happiness.

The event includes an exceptional dinner, a live auction, entertainment, and most importantly, instruction on how to make a positive impact. AZ Giving: Incredibull Stella Mission

Marika Meeks, Scottsdale resident and founder of the Incredibull Stella Mission, recently released her book Incredibull Stella: How the Love of a Pit Bull Rescued a Family, courageously sharing how her cancer diagnosis “gave her gifts.”
