Sanctuary Camelback Mountain introduces the next exciting step in the transformation of elements restaurant...Praying Monk.

Starting February 14, guests will pass through a new wine corridor exhibiting nearly 1,000 bottles and featuring a sommelier station to reach Praying Monk. This new environment makes the most of the glorious mountainside vistas and of Scottsdale’s beautiful climate all year round. Large skylights offer views of the sun or stars, while slide-away glass walls can be open or closed, as weather permits.

Enhancing the spectacular scenery is the cuisine you love at elements:

  • an expanded, diverse menu including more vegetarian and gluten-free options
  • innovations like in-house smoked meats and a raw bar for iced shellfish and sashimi
  • thoughtful ingredients including the best local, organic produce, sustainable seafood and hormone-free meats

And for events overlooking the beauty of Camelback Mountain, Praying Monk offers private dining for up to 60 guests or a cocktail reception for up to 100. Discover the resort’s fabulous new venue for an elite gathering of friends or associates, a keynote luncheon, a rehearsal dinner or even a reception overlooking the beautiful Wedding Lawn below.

Stay tuned for the final phase of the elements transformation – XII, a personalized and interactive journey in the kitchen. This new private chef’s table will seat groups of up to twelve people. Upon entering, guests will enjoy a custom display table of hors d’oeuvres, a multi-course tasting menu and a chef’s greeting. A wall of curtains and sliding glass doors can be opened to offer a backstage pass into the show kitchen.
