The Drive-Thru Gallery & Studio is a quaint and modern photography gallery and studio located in the Roosevelt Row Arts district in downtown Phoenix that is owned and operated by photographer, Andrew Pielage.
Pielage opened Drive-Thru Gallery in 2012 and it quickly has made a name for itself as a premier venue for photography. Drive-Thru Gallery is curated by Andrew Pielage, who works tirelessly in the downtown Phoenix community in addition to his efforts and support of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. The gallery showcases a wide variety of photography from an impressive selection of local artists working in all stages of their careers. Drive-Thru Gallery main focus is on “providing a comfortable and professional space for photographers to exhibit and work while connecting with the diverse art community” states Pielage. They also host workshops and seminars centered on photography exploring a variety of topics.
The gallery has showcased a great list of local artists including Brian Klein, Gerry Groeber, Jenny Leigh Davis, Daniel Lee Lannaccone, just to name a few. Pielage also owns the adjoining gallery, which serves as his office and personal gallery for his own stunning photography.
Currently they are showcasing “Girl’s Imprint: A Femme Fotale Photo Show” that “focuses on changingthat by uplifting eight female photographers who have been engaged with the group in one way or another since its inception”. Join them Friday, April 15th from 6-10pm for the final viewing of the exhibition and the opportunity to meet the artists behind this captivating work.
The Drive-Thru Gallery is located at 918 N. 6th Street, Phoenix 85004. The perfect time to check out Drive-Thru Gallery is every First Friday and Third Friday of the month from 6-10pm when Pielage hosts artist receptions.
