Milan has credited much of her career success to her parents, who are professional artists themselves. It was through their own teaching that Milan learned the classical techniques that she would take with her forever. She also credits God, stating, “He is my inspiration, and touches me so deeply, the way I can express it, is through paint. The only reason my art is so impactful, is because of his light shining through it.”

Milan has exhibited much of her artwork in galleries across the U.S. Some of which include Hawaii, Nevada, California, and Florida. Her work can also be found in Honfleur, France, at her first ever international gallery.
