Scott Wolf -ArtMeet Scott Wolf, a skilled local artist with a great sense of humor, who is creating a wide variety of work including paintings, prints, stickers, and vinyl. His work tends to favor a pop aesthetic that utilizes bold lines and a vibrant color palette.  

 His striking paintings are often ambiguous in nature while he fuses interesting images and highlights his love of graphic design, clipart, and his interest in the deconstruction of things. Typically Wolf favors using acrylic, spray paint, and repurposed materials when creating his masterpieces.

Looking through Scott Wolf's paintings, one can sense his love of graphic design with his use sharp lines and bold colors. There is a sharp wit and a surprising humor to each piece such as with “Allergic Salute” or “Hybrid (cameraphone)”. Wolf’s said, “I am often influenced by many unrelated and tweaked parts of clip-art that come together in an unintended way, I’m not a fan of "black and white"; I like all the grays in between.” There is more to Wolf’s work than meets the eye and a closer examination reveals a mix of solid and concrete visuals with an amorphous storyline that is pure entertainment to the eye. Wolf’s artwork will engage your senses with neon colors, bold lines, and humorous subjects while you explore Wolf’s whimsical and twisted world.

Wolf only recently began exhibiting his artwork in early 2012, exhibiting at several local phoenix galleries including the monOrchid, R. Pela Contemporary and Willo North Gallery. He has received rave reviews and has been featured in several local publications.
