Happy National Coffee Day! Instead of sipping on your usual cup o’ java today, try a unique alternative from Coco Joy Coffee Flavored Coconut Milk that still offers up delicious coffee flavor but with a twist (think a smoothie or scoop of ice cream).
Coffee Smoothie
1 C Coco Joy Coffee Flavored Coconut Milk, chilled
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup ice
Garnish of your choice
Blend until smooth and creamy
Vanilla Coffee Ice Cream
Serves 8
1 bottle of refrigerated Coco Joy Coffee Flavored Coconut Milk
¼ C honey
1 vanilla bean stick, grated
1 tsp of nutmeg
• Place bottle of coconut milk in refrigerator for at least 12 hours (preferably 24 hours)
• After the Coconut Milk is chilled, pour entire contents of bottle in a bowl
• Add in honey, nutmeg, and grated vanilla bean
• Whip with a mixer on high for 3-4 minutes
• Transfer to ice cream tin
• Cover with plastic wrap
• Freeze for 30 minutes
Coffee Flavored Hot Chocolate
1 C Coco Joy Coffee Flavored Coconut Milk
1 serving’s worth of dark chocolate cocoa mix
½ tsp ground cinnamon
• Bring the liquid to a simmer
• Place cocoa mix into an empty mug
• Add cinnamon to the mug, and then stir in a small amount of milk to create a paste
• Gradually add the rest of the milk, stirring as you go.
• Serve hot
Coffee and Vanilla Yogurt Popsicles
1 carton plain Greek yogurt
1 ½ C French Vanilla creamer
1 ½ C Coco Joy Coffee Flavored Coconut Milk
• Combine all ingredients in a large bowl
• Blend ingredients until combined and there are no lumps
• Pour mixture into Popsicle molds and place in freezer
• Freeze until popsicles are solid
