Scottsdale’s acclaimed Anhelo restaurant is kicking off 2026 with ultra-luxury dining experiences that promise to redefine what dining can be. Known for its intimate setting, world-class wine program, and innovative culinary approach, Anhelo is offering a series of exclusive events designed to immerse guests in rare spirits, legendary wines, and meticulously crafted cuisine.
From cult American whiskeys to some of Burgundy’s most revered vintages, these dinners give diners access to flavors and pairings rarely seen outside private cellars.
The series opens on January 6 with a six-course whiskey-focused evening featuring High West’s coveted Cask Collection and the 13th iteration of A Midwinter Night’s Dream, a globally celebrated premium release. Each course is paired with guided whiskey tastings and bespoke cocktails, and guests may opt for a curated cigar pairing to complete the sensory journey.

“We’re kicking off 2026 with incredible dinner evenings,” Chef and Owner Ivan Jacobo said. “Every menu, pairing, detail is designed to take our guests somewhere they cannot go on their own.”
Following this, Anhelo’s programming continues with a rare Red Burgundy evening and an extraordinary White Burgundy dinner. These events highlight some of the world’s most elusive wines, including Vosne-Romanée holdings and Henri Boillot’s legendary monopole Chardonnays.
With vintages rarely seen outside private collections, these dinners are an opportunity for collectors and wine enthusiasts to experience the pinnacle of Burgundy craftsmanship, paired with menus carefully designed to honor the wines’ depth and precision.

The series concludes with the Dry-Aged Steak Odyssey, an immersive exploration of dry-aged beef as an evolving culinary art form. Guests will experience multiple stages of aging, paired with wines that enhance each phase of flavor development.
This dinner transforms what might seem a simple steak meal into an intricate narrative of time, patience, and technique, highlighting Anhelo’s commitment to combining culinary mastery with educational, unforgettable experiences.
“We’re welcoming owners and winemakers who seldom appear in the U.S., creating moments that don’t exist for most diners,” Wine Director Ryan Ansell said. “Our focus is meaningful access, not inflated pricing or transactional wine programs. That philosophy is what allows these experiences to exist.”
With limited seating and settings designed for intimacy, the Anhelo Wine Dinner Series is an invitation to indulge in some of the most exclusive dining experiences available in the U.S., right in the heart of Scottsdale. For more, visit anhelorestaurant.com.
