Estelle Brings the Sun-Soaked Mediterranean to Old Town

Old Town Scottsdale welcomed Estelle, a two-story, open-air destination that blends Mediterranean and Mexican influences in a breezy, beach-house-inspired setting. The new concept arrives just in time for one of the biggest nightlife days of the year. Created by Jocque Concepts (the team known for favorites The Montauk and Diego Pops), Estelle channels coastal Mediterranean living through a lens of Old Town energy.

The aesthetic mixes effortless, sun-kissed charm with curated house-music programming, rooftop vibes, and an atmosphere meant for lunches, golden-hour lounging, and late-night momentum. Influences from Greece and Italy are layered with Estelle’s own social personality, creating a space that feels both transportive and distinctly rooted in Arizona.

Clocking in at 5,800 square feet with room for 400 guests, Estelle transforms from a breezy daytime escape to a rooftop retreat as evening settles in. Natural textures, soft coastal tones, greenery, and open sightlines to Camelback shape the design, all intended to evoke the elegance of a Mediterranean beach house.

“We are incredibly excited to bring this new concept to the heart of the entertainment district,” Caitlin Jocque, co-owner of Jocque Concepts, said. “Arizona is full of beauty and energy, and we wanted to create a place that celebrates both; a destination for sunseekers to unwind in an open-air space with beautiful views. As Arizona natives, we can’t wait to welcome our community and share Estelle with everyone.”

The culinary direction is led by Chef Hector Cruz, a Mexico City native known for shaping menus at many Valley favorites. His offerings meld Greek, Italian, and coastal Mediterranean flavors with bold, seasonal ingredients. Guests can expect dishes such as ahi tostadas with chipotle aioli and crispy leek, dirty martini dip with hand-pressed olives and parmesan lavash, crispy brussels sprouts with whipped feta and salsa Macha and shrimp aguachile with citrus broth and Calabrian chile.

Estelle’s pizza ranges from a margherita to spicy sausage & hot honey and the sweet-savory Figs & Pigs. Dessert includes limoncello sorbet with prickly pear syrup and a house-made affogato with cold brew.

The cocktail program embraces seasonal citrus, Mediterranean spirits, and coastal influences. Standouts include the Sunseeker, made with tequila, mango and bell pepper; the Huguette Spritz featuring pear, mint and prosecco; the French Exit pairing honey gin with raspberry sorbet; Casa Blanca with gin, Italicus and cucumber; Carajillo Rising with tequila, Licor 43 and cold brew; and the playful Dirty Olive Oil Martini with feta-stuffed olives.

Guests can also explore Golden Hour and Lunar Hour offerings featuring $12 cocktails, pizza specials, and small-plate favorites. A Winter Solstice Grand Opening Party is planned for December 20, 2025, with more details to be shared via @estellescottsdale.
