A typical day in my life includes… waking up at 4:30 a.m. to exercise. I use it as a form of discipline and to set structure to my day. I am a very firm believer that structure rules the day.

My favorite thing about Arizona is… the Saguaro cactus.
I am listening to…. smooth jazz and R&B.
My family… My children are my priority and my world.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… with the President of the United States. This would give me the ultimate opportunity to continue to advocate on issues on behalf of America’s small business.
One thing I cannot live without… is my Peloton.
When I was younger I wanted to be… a singer.
I’m inspired by… I find other women entrepreneurs to be motivational. Women raising families and running businesses simultaneously is a feat to behold. While we don’t always achieve a perfect work/life balance it does set a good example of our attempts to do so.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… people explore the idea of meditation and make it a daily practice. It really gives you a better perspective which is not hyperbole.
The perfect day would be… sitting down and reading a book.
My first job was… being a firefighter for California Department of Forestry for seven years. Firefighting afforded me the ability to finance my college tuition and graduate debt free.
My favorite escape… is reading.
My life… has not gone exactly as planned, but has certainly brought me to interesting detours.
I am currently working on… a myriad of projects.
