AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path right for you?
JH: No, it sort of accidentally happened and yet once I realized that no matter who I was working for I was always the CEO of me. So I guess this really means I’ve been running a business my whole life and this job, being the CEO of me, is one I take very seriously.

AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?
JH: The FREEDOM to do work I love, the way I want, with people that rock. Oh, and, that every day is different. My water sign Gemini soul loves the flow of entrepreneurship.

AZF: How do you feel best supported?
JH: When I’m organized! I love a good planner.

AZF: What is your “life motto”?
JH: A disco ball is made up of hundreds of pieces of broken glass. You aren’t broken. You are a disco ball.

AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.
JH: I loved starting my day with movement and heat therapy, so either a good walk with our dogs or a hot yoga session followed by a soak in the hot tub then some time in an infrared sauna. After that a yummy brunch with my hubby followed by a day with no plans other than doing what our souls need be it a road trip, a spa day, laying pool side with a good book, or dinner plans at a new restaurant.

AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst of the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?
JH: Looking at failure as data vs a damper

AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?
JH: If you are scared, you are probably doing it right.
