A typical day in my life includes… I wake up around 6 am on most days and immediately start my day out with meditation and breathwork. I do this to regulate any anxiety I may be having and filter out my thoughts to be clearheaded and ready to start the day. I have struggled with anxiety a lot in my life and is partially why I am so passionate about helping others with their mental health. Meditation and breathwork are followed by journaling and manifestations. After I finish my morning routine, I get some coffee in my system and get to work!
Part of my job with ShaunT is to be a digital marketing specialist. I run digital advertising for some of his biggest ad campaigns and this is where I spend a good bit of my time. Around noon I typically hit the gym for an intense workout session – I find the harder I go, the less anxiety and racing thoughts I have the rest of the day. It is so important to move your body! In the afternoon I settle back in to finish work. In addition to my job with ShaunT, I am also a meditation/breathwork instructor, so a lot of what I do in off-hours is focused on that passion. – Creating is my biggest passion in life, and when I build things that can impact others, I feel the most fulfilled. I love finishing the day by eating a big meal loaded with nutrients for dinner as I usually fast most of the day. To cap it all off, I like to listen to something educational like a podcast or read something that will improve me in one way or another before bed. I find knowledge to be power, and being obsessed with learning has been one of the most helpful things I have ever invested in.
I was born… In 1992! 90’s baby all the way
My favorite thing about Arizona… The fall! It is the most amazing weather in the entire world, if I could live outside during the fall I would. Maybe I should actually, I heard the rent is cheaper 😉
I’m listening to… Anything EDM or Hip Hop. I live for music! Currently in rotation for me:

My family… Is amazing. I have two amazing parents and twin sisters! They support me and uplift me when I am feeling down, and are always so supportive of whatever crazy endeavors I may be taking on.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be… Joe Rogan or Elon Musk! Joe has educated me, inspired me, and helped me become a better version of myself. I almost consider him a mentor that I have never met. Elon is changing the world as we speak, and I would love to get inside the mind of someone who is capable of thinking and dreaming in such a massive way!
One thing I cannot live without… Meditation. It has literally saved my life. Once I learned how to create space form the anxieties and stresses of life I truly became unstoppable. If there is one thing I would encourage people to do – it would be to take some time each day to just be still. Aside from that, I would say a connection with others – I love discovering the depths and layers of someone’s soul I find this to be inspiring, healing, and bonding.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… A professional baseball player!
I’m inspired by… Too many to name. I am inspired by anyone who is pursuing a dream pr passion and making it happen. Having the courage to live in your truth is something that takes work. You will face ridicule and critiques, but there is nothing more fulfilling than being 100% you.
The one person who motivates me is… My mentor Shaun T motivates me so much! He has shown me first-hand what is possible when you stay true to your vision and work as hard as you possibly can. I am so grateful for the lessons he has taught me, and for the outside of the box thinking, I have learned as a result of working with him for several years.
If I could change anything in the world, it would be… Our collective mental health. So many people live day to day with some form of anxiety, depression, or hopelessness. If I could show everyone that it does not have to be this way, and there really is a way to live happier, more fulfilled, and true to yourself – I think the world would be full of positive loving energy
The perfect day would be… Waking up to do my morning routine, getting some work done, exercising, and spending the rest of them with people I love creating, being present, eating, and vibing out!
My first job was… Cutting the grass for people in my neighborhood! It was SO hot but I learned so much about work ethic and going hard.
My favorite escape… Without a doubt, my favorite escape is to go to a music festival or workout.
My life… Is amazing! Sometimes it feels like I am living in a movie and I am just so overwhelmingly grateful for the way things have played out. I plan on going hard every day to push the limits of what is possible and I will always remain true to myself. I want to express what my soul has to say on a daily basis!
I’m currently working on… The Kokoro Experience! This is my combination of everything I am passionate about, I know it can change lives and impact the mental health of millions of people. Time will tell how it all plays out, but I know I will give it everything I have and the universe will take care of the rest.
Always… Believe in yourself. It is cliché but it is true when you listen to your instincts and follow your heart you can never lose. If you sell out and do what you think will benefit you over what you know is right, you will never be fulfilled or happy.
Never… Let negativity, doubts, or insecurities overcome you. Life comes in seasons, and whatever you are going through will soon pass. Knowing this we can find peace in the chaos, and ride the wave to the next chapter of our life.
Favorite Quote… I have two, is that cheating?

- This is saying that by taking a moment to moment approach we will never be overcome by the anxieties and insecurities we all face in life.
- “Today is a beautiful day, I have never seen this one before”.
Biggest Dream… To influence millions of people and positively impact their mental health and overall happiness. I am working everyday to make this a reality.
My Pet Peeve(s)…Small minded thinking. Why not shoot for the stars? Life is short and you can truly do ANYTHING you set your mind to if you truly believe in yourself and your vision.

Hello, My name is Sam Knight, and I was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga until I left for college to play baseball.
After school, I packed my bags and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career. After several twists and turns, things came together when I had the fantastic opportunity to move to Phoenix and work with ShaunT fitness (ShaunT is the creator of the insanity workouts). Working with ShaunT for the last three years has allowed me to travel the world, host events for thousands of people, and create workouts/motivational online content that has influenced millions of people. It was through this experience that I realized my true passion in life, helping others become the best version of themselves to live a fulfilled and happy life where they thrive in their truth. My ultimate goal is to help people reach their real full Mind, Body, and Soul potential by leading guided meditations / breathwork sessions combined with fitness to help people
The Kokoro experience was born out of my love for these three elements, as well as the fourth love of mine – music festivals. When I am routinely performing exercises such as Breath-work, meditation, and exercise, the feeling I have is only matched by the feeling I get when I am leaving a music festival! A sense of Euphoria, connection to others, and all around unstoppable positive energy.
During the experience, which will be at the W hotel in Scottsdale, we will have a full show(audio/visual production + a live DJ), in conjunction with Breath-work, Exercise, and meditation. Following this event, we will have a social hour in the lounge of the W as an opportunity to decompress, network, and connect. Now more than ever, it is so essential to protect our mental health. This event will allow you to walk away with new tools that you can use daily in your journey to being the best version of yourself and allow for a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in the community, and most importantly….
