Title: Co-Founder of Fuchsia Spa
Married/Single: Married

City you live in: Phoenix
A typical day in my life includes…
I typically get up at 4 am, I check emails and then get ready for my boot camp that starts at 5 am. I head back home afterward and get the dogs out for a walk before jumping into the shower to get ready for the day. Uh, did I mention I have a couple of cups of coffee in between my workout and shower? I get into my office and start working on strategic projects for Fuchsia. Some days keep me locked up in the office (which is not my preference) and other days I am at Fuchsia or in the community which are without a doubt my favorite days. I love being around our team and members. I am inspired by our team of professionals and how passionate they are with their chosen profession and how they care for our guests. My days at home typically wrap up when the dogs get impatient with me and start barking enough to get me to out of the office to feed them or take them for another walk.
I was born…
in Phoenix—yes I am a native, as are my parents!
My favorite thing about Arizona…
I didn’t realize how wonderful AZ was until I spent time in other states. Honestly, I love our weather. Yes, it is hot in the summer but the rest of the year by far outweighs a couple of months of sizzling. Besides, it is a short drive to the mountains where you can experience cooler weather, fall colors and winter sports. Arizona really has it all if you are one who enjoys the outdoors as I do.
I’m listening to…
Investigative ID (makes my husband nervous, lol) and Tony Robbins: I Am Not Your Guru.
My family…
is highly competitive especially when it comes to playing Mexican Train on Sundays. The bantering among us is comical and fun.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be…
Ronald Regan.
One thing I cannot live without…
having a dog.
When I was younger, I wanted to be…
veterinarian.
I’m inspired by…
my dad. He has always lived his life with integrity. He is tough, genuine and real. He has accomplished so much in his life and he motivates and inspires me by who he is and how he has touched and helped others.
The one person who motivates me is…
I don’t think there is a single person who motivates me…today I am motivated by my team at Fuchsia to be a better leader and employer.
The perfect day would be…
getting my groove on at boot camp and spending the day outdoors hiking somewhere with my husband who makes me laugh every day, he tells the worst jokes and is one of those who laughs so hard before the punch line which makes me laugh right along with him. I would end the day going to the ranch (my dad’s house) cooking dinner and spending time with family and friends. When we cook, which I love to do, there is always plenty for whoever drops by.
My first job was…
working at a Tack Shop at Turf Paradise.
My favorite escape…
Del Mar, CA. My husband and I try to go every year, it is a place where we take one week to shut off the outside world and spend time being present with each other.
My life…
is blessed with family, friends, and an amazing business.
I’m currently working on…
being present. While having your business is fun, exciting and rewarding it can also be all-consuming and can take over my thoughts no matter where I am. Because of this, I find myself not being fully engaged with the person I am with and that is a crime! I am robbing myself of the gift of family, friends, and others.
Always…
remember to live your life with gratitude.
Never…
take relationships for granted.
Favorite Quote…
“You will continue to suffer if you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you True power is sitting back and observing things with logic. True power is restraint. If words control you that means everyone else controls you. Breath, and allow things to pass.” – Warren Buffet
“The only impossible journey is the one you never begin.” – Tony Robbins
My Pet Peeve(s)…
road ragers…seriously take a breath.
