Foundress Friday: Meet Ashlie Rodriguez, Founder of Ashlie Rodriguez Media Coaching & Image Consulting

Trusted media coach and veteran broadcaster Ashlie Rodriguez will help you sharpen your delivery, strengthen your presence, and turn every weakness into an advantage.

She uses her 15+ years of experience as a broadcaster on live TV, including FOX News, ABC, and local affiliates, and interviewing nationally recognized leaders in top markets, including New York City, Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.

“From script to stage presence, we cover it all. Choose from services spanning speechwriting, full media training, and image consulting, all built to elevate your impact, presence, and purpose,” Rodriguez said.

AZF: What is your “life motto”?

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

AZF: Did you always know that you wanted to be an entrepreneur? If not, when did you realize that it was the right path for you?

When people started coming to me for advice on their presentations and on-camera appearances, I realized I could make a bigger impact. I didn’t want 15 years of live TV experience to sit on the shelf; I wanted to share what I’ve learned with anyone ready to step up and use their voice with confidence.

AZF: How do you feel best supported?

I feel best supported when there’s honesty, encouragement, and a genuine desire to grow together. I love open communication, the kind that lets ideas flow and feedback feel natural. I’m at my best when I know we’re both showing up with the same energy and intention: to learn, stretch, and make an impact.

AZF: What motivates you to keep going amidst the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur?

I know I offer a service people truly need; one that can transform how they show up and communicate. Seeing the confidence and clarity that comes from that transformation keeps me energized and excited to grow my business. When challenges come up, I remind myself that I’m uniquely equipped to serve a specific audience, and no one else can do it quite like I can.

AZF: Describe your perfect Saturday morning.

First of all, it’s raining. I’ve just come back from the gym, and after a long, steaming shower, I slip into some sweats. I pour a glass of wine, put on a podcast, and start cooking a big, comforting meal – dessert included. While everything’s simmering, I curl up with a good book for a chapter or two. Once dinner’s ready, I grab a plate, put on a new movie, and settle in for the perfect cozy night.

AZF: What’s one piece of advice you’d give to a young entrepreneur who is just starting out?

I’ve failed, fumbled, lost money, and embarrassed myself more times than I can count. But I always come back to a quote from entrepreneur Robert T. Kiyosaki: “People who avoid failure also avoid success.” Every setback has taught me something valuable – and the only real regret would be not trying at all. So take the leap, chase the dream, and trust that every stumble gets you closer to where you’re meant to be.

AZF: What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?

Working as a coach allows me to empower people who feel called to use their voice in the public arena – the same passion that first drew me to journalism. Helping others build strong speaking skills and unshakable confidence so they can inspire, influence, and create change truly energizes me.

The world needs more passionate voices willing to lead and connect – especially now, as storytelling continues to evolve through social media and podcasts.
