Title 9 Sports Grill is entering a new chapter under the leadership of owner Audrey Corley. The women-focused sports bar is introducing later weekend hours, late-night dining, a refreshed menu and an updated patio while remaining committed to its founding mission: making women’s sports the main event.
Since opening, Title 9 has distinguished itself as Phoenix’s first sports bar dedicated to showcasing women’s athletics, providing a space where fans can watch games with the same enthusiasm, visibility and energy traditionally reserved for men’s sports.
“Women’s sports are not niche anymore, and honestly, they never should have been treated that way,” said Corley. “People want to watch these athletes. They want a place to gather. They want the games on, the sound up and the energy in the room.”
Interest in women’s athletics continues to grow, with increased television viewership, sponsorship investments and attendance figures helping fuel a new era for professional and collegiate competition. For Title 9, that growth is being felt firsthand. Fans are increasingly seeking places where women’s basketball, soccer, tennis, softball, volleyball, rugby and other sports receive top billing.
“Sports culture has always been social,” Corley said. “You remember where you were when a team won, when an athlete broke a record, when the room went wild. We want Title 9 to be that place for women’s sports.”
The updated menu expands on traditional sports-bar favorites: on Fridays and Saturdays, the bar will remain open later and offer late-night food service, providing another destination for guests exploring Melrose after concerts, events, games and nights out.
The revamped patio adds additional outdoor seating and gathering space, creating a comfortable extension of the bar and allowing guests to enjoy the neighborhood’s atmosphere. The business will also continue participating in Melrose First Fridays, a long-running tradition that showcases local businesses and strengthens connections throughout the district.
“Melrose has always had heart,” Corley said. “Title 9 is part of that. Boycott is part of that. First Fridays are part of that. These spaces matter because they give people somewhere to belong, whether they are here to watch a game, meet friends, bring their kids or just feel like they are part of something bigger.”
As Phoenix’s dining and nightlife scene continues to evolve, Title 9 Sports Grill is carving out a unique niche; one where sports, community and culture intersect. Learn more at titleninesportsgrill.com.
