Phoenix Restaurants Earn MICHELIN Recognition

For the first time in Arizona history, greater Phoenix restaurants have earned highly coveted MICHELIN recognition. In 2025, the MICHELIN Guide revealed its new expansion into the American Southwest, including Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. The MICHELIN Guide is known worldwide and helps draw visitors to destinations where guests can experience culinary richness and local flavors.

MICHELIN Mindful Voice shines a light on individuals who, through their commitment and endeavors, are proposing new methods in gastronomy, hospitality, and wine. This year, Charleen Badman from FnB was recognized.

The MICHELIN Sommelier Award recognizes talented wine professionals who elevate dining experiences through expert wine lists, creative pairings, and guest services. This year, John Germain from Reserve was recognized for his performance.

MICHELIN Guide celebrates rising culinary talent through the Young Chef Award, recognizing anyone under the age of 36 who demonstrated skill, potential, and a unique personal vision in their cooking. This year’s recipient was Rene Andrade from Bacanora and Huarachis Taqueria.
